Welcome to Belgrade! You’ll be met at the Airport and transferred to our Hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, the sightseeing tour of Belgrade will take place either today or on the last day before your return flight. Belgrade sightseeing tour includes the most significant sights of old part of the city: the National Assembly, City Hall, National Theatre and the visit to St Sava Orthodox Church. You will also walk with your Local Guide along the pedestrian Knez Mihailova street and Kalemegdan park and fortress.
After breakfast we change into a full rafting gear: diving suites and boots, waistcoats, helmets. We embark the boats and the rafting starts. You will be experiencing a high adrenaline rush as we are tumbling down rapids and encountering numerous waterfalls for some 22km along the rivers Tara and Drina with untouched nature and amazing views all around.Scrumptious lunch awaits us at our camp before we board our mini-bus for the late afternoon drive back to Serbia and a picturesque village of Mokra Gora. Here we have reserved seats for a train journey on the famous “Shargan Eight”, heritage of the old steam railway trains originally constructed in the early 1900s through deep cuttings and narrow gorges. Then we visit Drvengrad – Mecavnik, an amazing yet traditional looking village created by the Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. Enjoy a traditional cuisine for your included dinner.
Very scenic drive through Serbian and Bosnian countryside to the village of Bastani, close to town Foca in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and our rafting camp. Free time to relax by the river or take a hike before we enjoy a delicious dinner. Accommodation is in an authentic wooden bungalows.
An early departure for Belgrade Airport for your return flight home. Those who have the later flights may enjoy the included city sightseeing tour before departure to the airport.
